Project 1 10 ideas for youth station.

I was working along side Jason copping on this project as we were encouraged to collaborate. We came up with a gaming website for youth. the type of video games range from retro video games to modern video games offering a range of content. No age limit to this because your never old enough to play video games.

This is the final main logo we designed and decided to stick with. It is simple and clearly displays our brand identity. What we are about, as well showing retro and modern games to show we are for any gaming audience.

This is concept of a web page we made. clearly displays gaming consoles, some of our products, logo and live streaming events to take place. Our unique u.s.p. we decided to host on line events and who ever wins gets currency to spend on our website to download mini games and avatars for modern generation consoles. For the retro gamer we will offer vintage t shirts relating to the games. On our website also are: reviews, previews, articles, products, rate games, videos, chat system, forums, online streaming, and console specific technology gadgets such as gaming chairs etc that have been detailed reviews and rated.

The first idea I initially had was a self help website called Better nature designed to improve confidence and overcome many psychological states that is becoming more and more common such as anxiety and depression. I like the idea of helping people out in their time of need, feeling appreciated for helping is a worth while feeling. The website will work like this: videos of all topics will be updated regular on a strict time table and then the videos will be put into their specific category, for example depression will have its own playlist of videos designed to help you beat it, so on and so forth. 

Towards the end of this idea me and Jason decided to join up and do this together or do something new entirely which turned out to be The Geek Within concept. Here is a render of my Logo and website layout for this concept (Better Nature).

Here is the logo design which is clean, simple and effective. Giving my brand a distinct mature feeling. I done them in a few colors to show a range. Preferred one is the blue background logo. Red tie for the letter T is a good idea because red is the color associated with confidence and a tie is a sign of smart and confidence.

Here is the website layout I have implemented most feature from Facebook and you tube and will sell advertising space to those who wish to advertise their products in relation to my website (Self help).
